Cllr Dave Shaw

Dave Shaw has been a District Councillor for Brampton since May 2022.

He has lived in Huntingdonshire his whole life. He moved from Buckden to Brampton over 30 years ago at the age of 11, where he attended Hinchingbrooke School and got his first job in retail shortly after leaving.

He has worked in security, tech support and in 2006 started work at Brampton Post Office where he became Postmaster and, in that capacity, has been serving the people of Brampton and surrounding area for over 16 years.

Outside of work and politics, Dave is very practical and enjoys DIY.  He also enjoys weekends away in his caravan, being outdoors, listening to music and doing fun activities with his two daughters.
