Dr Sharon Docherty: PIP on the Doorstep
Speaker meeting 12 November 1930
This event will be on Zoom.
Docherty (who was our candidate in this summer's Ramsey by election) will talk about Personal Independence Payments (PIP) to explain how the process works, where it fails, and what residents are likely to raise on the doorstep. A practical session for candidates, councillors and campaigners who want to respond with accuracy, confidence and empathy.
The event is free, but you'll need to click the “Find out more, and book" to receive the Zoom link. After following that link, please click “buy” and the “checkout”
We run regular events throughout the year, both online and in person.
Events range from socials, debates, discussions, and our annual BBQ!
Recent discussions around policy have looked at:

- smart motorways (James Catmur)
- where we are in the light of Brexit — and the prospects for rejoining the EU (Mark Argent).
Recent speakers at our annual dinner include Lucy Nethsingha and Norman Lamb.
