A graphic reading "Thank You", with Lib Dem activists celebrating. Additional text reads "Lib Dems become the largest party on HDC" and "Most LDs ever elected in Huntingdonshire".

After winning 20 seats on the 7th May 2026, the Liberal Democrat group is now the largest group on Huntingdonshire District Council.

The Lib Dems gained 10 seats compared to the 2022 poll, holding back Reform UK across the District. The Conservatives and Labour both lost seats.
